Minting Guide
Minting allows you to create new Shoebox with currently owned ones.
To get
this done, you need to be able to accept the loss (due to stat penalty) of the "parent" Sneaks.

Minting strategy
Users of StepApp can create new Shoebox with Sneaks inside with the functionality called Minting. Minting is a process that allows to use two Sneaks, called the "parents" to create new, "child" Sneaks in form of a Shoebox.
Creating new Shoebox with Minting comes at a price: the "parent" Sneaks will get stars penalty, lowering them for 15% for each minting done. Parent Sneaks can be used for Minting up to 5 times, so it is easy to calculate that the nominal penalty will be -75%.
Please keep in mind that Sneaks with Minting penalty are basically unusable: even if you add gems, still the penalty will affect the overall stats - gems included. This makes the "parent" shoes a throwaway shoes: you can either try to sell then on the Marketplace or put them on Shelf, but that will not come with great benefits due to low Base Stats (lowered by Minting) and basically 0 Bonus Energy.
